    PE Ceremony Honors Engineers' Perserverance

MSPE HOSTS PE CEREMONY IN CAPITOL ROTUNDA

For many years, MSPE has hosted a “certificate presentation” event for newly licensed professional engineers at Missouri’s State Capitol in Jefferson City.  All engineers that have passed the professional practice exam are invited to attend and be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in passing the hurdles of engineering education, experience, and examination.  This special PE recognition event is held every October and April.

Our most recent event was celebrated on April 9, 2016 welcoming 10 newly licensed professional engineers along with their families. Volunteers from Jefferson City Chapter – Jason Sommerer, P.E., Matt Weber, E.I., Central Chapter – Landon Bodenschatz, P.E. St. Louis Chapter – Jennifer Kuchinski, P.E. Volunteer – Beth Bedinghaus and Cherie Bishop, MSPE Staff, who helped support MSPE’s Membership Coordinator Stacey Meyer great preparation in making this event one the newly licensed PEs will remember and appreciate for their entire career.

MSPE extends its appreciation for the words of wisdom given to the new PEs from Kevin Skibiski, P.E., S.E., P.L.S, Chair of the Engineering Division for the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Professional Landscape Architects, and a special thanks to Keynote Speaker, Robert “Mike” Bates, P.E., Central Missouri Professional Services.
