Topic Abstract: How Did we get to our existing electrical grid and where do we go from here? What political, social, and economic forces are at play? Will the future look like the world of the Jetsons or Mad Max?

Speaker Bio: Tom O'Connor is a graduate of some of the finest educational institutions in all of Columbia, Missouri, from Grant Elementary School through the MU Colleges of Engineering and Business. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, master electrician, 40-plus year resident, and served for ten years on Columbia's Water and Light Advisory Board. Tom's company is H2O'C Solar Engineering, where he designs and installs photovoltaic systems.
