MSPE Advocacy
MSPE Works to Protect Your Professional License While You Are At Work!
MSPE Government Affairs efforts include a combination of work at the Capitol in Jefferson City, as well as working with legislators at the local level.
Mark Rhoads, of the Rhoads Company, serves as MSPE’s contract lobbyist in Jefferson City. MSPE publishes weekly e-legislative updates during the legislative session to keep members abreast of issues impacting licensed professional engineers.
MSPE may have legislation introduced, support legislation by others and/or oppose legislation detrimental to the engineering profession.
We ask that all MSPE members establish and maintain contact with their state representative and state senator. See how to find your legislator with the links at the bottom of this page.
