The MSPE Educational Foundation is excited to announce the 2022-2023 Chapter Grant Program is open with an enhanced budget. The Educational Foundation Board of Directors recently approved a $19,500 budget for the program, the largest appropriation in recent memory. Chapters have been notified applications are being accepted until July 31, 2022.

The Chapter Grant Program has historically offered chapters financial support to conduct local STEM activities, coinciding with the Educational Foundation’s mission. The Foundation uses its revenue generated by donation support and investment income to give back to local chapters.

Last year saw momentum return to the program as the Foundation awarded five chapters with funds totaling $15,000. The Jefferson City Chapter, Ozark Chapter, St. Louis Chapter, Southwest Chapter and College of the Ozarks Student Chapter were provided support. Funded activities included support for MATHCOUNTS, model bridge competitions and FE exam preparation for student members.

Grant guidelines and the application form can be found on the MSPE.org website under the Educational Foundation tab.  Applications for funding must be submitted to the Educational Foundation at foundation@mspe.org by July 31, 2022. Please clearly mark the submittals “Grant Application”. Late applications will not be considered.
